Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor to join the Surgical Services Main OR Team at Baptist South. This is a Full-time Days position.

The role oversees decontamination, inspection, cleaning and packaging of surgical linens and instruments, assigns staff, and ensures compliance with sterilization processes. Requires 5+ years in Central Processing and 1-3 years leadership; CRCST certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• CRCST certification preferred.
• 5+ years of central processing experience; 1-3 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

This is a Full-time Days position.

As a Sterile Processing Supervisor, your responsibilities and qualifications will include:

• Supervising and participating in the decontamination, inspection, cleaning and assembling and packaging of surgical linens, surgical instrumentation, medical/surgical supplies material and equipment
• Having knowledge of all types of sterilization processes
• Making work assignments for staff

ExperienceRequirements

• Over 5 years of Experience in Central Processing Experience Preferred
• 1-3 years of Leadership Experience Preferred

• High School Diploma Required
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) - HSPA Preferred
