Job Opportunity: Sterile Processing Technician

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:
  • Certification as a Registered Central Sterilization Technician (CRCST), Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT), or Surgical Tech certification (CST, TS-C, or CORST).
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Continued Employment:
  • Current CRCST, CSPDT, CST, TS-C, or CORST Certification.
Experience REQUIRED:
  • Minimum of three (3) years sterile processing experience.
  • Previous experience with a personal computer.
Experience PREFERRED:
  • One (1) year of supervisory, management, or leadership experience.
  • Previous work in an academic medical center environment.
Education/Training REQUIRED:
  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • Work experience may be considered in lieu of credentials not required by law, with HR approval. Experience must be specific to the role.
Education/Training PREFERRED:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Completion of the International Association of Healthcare Central Services Material Management (IAHCSMM) curriculum.

This shift is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, at our Short Pump location.
