Responsibilities

• Communicates and collaborates with Surgery regarding OR instrumentation and case cart needs.
• Contributes to OR efficiency through sterilization and disinfection process improvements.
• Oversees shift operations and resolves problems.
• Facilitates scheduling, staffing and daily adjustments based on department needs.
• Coordinates daily assignment of work to staff.
• Coordinates cleaning, processing and sterilization of instrumentation as needed.
• Develops daily, monthly and/or yearly measurable goals.

• Facilitates workflow of department and instrumentation turnover by coordinating cleaning, processing and sterilization of instrumentation as needed.


• Develops daily, monthly and/or yearly measurable goals.
