Description:Responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of supplies and equipment.Follows established infection control practices and guidelines.Requests for time off must be noted and verified prior to submission.Requests for time off after submission will not be approved.No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted.Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work designated holiday blocks as scheduled.Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.This unit utilizes paper tickets; it does not have a computerized system.Travel experience is preferred.All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.Any requests after the offer may lead to a rescinded offer.Profile requirements include a signed reference from the past two years of employment.Skills checklist for Central Sterile Reprocessing Technician must be current to 1 year.
