Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Sterilization Technician to support dental operations by properly cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining instruments and treatment rooms. The role requires attention to infection control standards and accurate documentation.

You will operate autoclaves and sterilization equipment, monitor cycles, and assist the clinical team to keep a clean, organized, and fully stocked sterilization area. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous dental or medical sterilization experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure instruments and treatment areas are cleaned, sterilized, and maintained per infection control standards.
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and materials.
• Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment with attention to detail.
• Monitor and log sterilization cycles and ensure documentation meets safety requirements.
• Support clinical team by keeping sterilization area clean, organized, and stocked.
• Dispose of hazardous and biohazardous waste following proper protocols.
• Participate in team huddles and contribute to a positive working environment.
