Job summary

Rochester Regional Health's Sterile Processing team is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to prepare and maintain life-saving equipment, ensuring patient and staff safety. Location: SLH - CPH Main, 50 Leroy Street Potsdam, NY 13676.

Schedule: 1pm-9pm, Mon-Fri, every other weekend, on-call Sat-Sun 7a-7p. Responsibilities include operating steam and ETO gas sterilizers, maintaining supplies, and daily records under the Central Supply Supervisor.

Qualifications

• English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Certification by CBSPD or CRCST within two years of hire.
• Grandfathering clause requires prior Central Service experience between 2011 and 2015.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operates steam and ETO gas sterilizers.
• Maintain extra supplies.
• Updates file cards and maintains daily records.
• Participates in continuing education programs.
