Role Summary

As a Sterile Processing Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment according to hospital protocols. You will ensure a continuous flow of sterile supplies and instrumentation to all hospital areas, playing a crucial role in safe patient care during surgeries.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: One year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.
  • Preferred: Certification such as CSPDT or CRCST, to be obtained within 18 months of hire.
  • Strong analytical skills to differentiate various instruments and supplies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with medical staff and patients.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and maneuver equipment.
  • Knowledge of complex instrumentation is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:50 am - 5:20 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Certifications/Licenses
  • Either N/A, CRCST, or CSPDT certification, with certification to be obtained if not already certified.
