Qualifications include CRCST or CBSPD certification, a High School Diploma or GED, and 3 years in sterile processing; leadership roles require an Associate's Degree and 6 years of experience with regulatory compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• CRCST or CBSPD certification.
• Minimum 3 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Leadership Roles: Associate's Degree required for Supervisor/Manager/Director/Consultant.
• CHL or CIS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and procedural trays per standards.
• Operate and monitor autoclaves and washer‑disinfectors to ensure proper processing.
• Adhere to regulatory standards (AAMI, AORN, OSHA) for infection prevention and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and inventory for department operations.
• Collaborate with surgical, clinical, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
