Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field and six or more years of experience in a sterile processing department.
• Work experience may substitute for education requirements.
• CRCST and CHL certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational direction for methods, policies and procedures for all activities that support delivery of quality, cost effective services for central sterile services.
• Provide oversight for clinical sterilization standards and regulatory compliance.
• Implement and evaluate all activities related to instrument processing and sterilization.
• Manage budget development and monitor adherence to same.
• Provide supervision for staff.
