Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; education/experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Five years of experience in an acute sterile processing department is required.
• Three years of progressive management experience preferred; certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general administration and fiscal oversight of the Sterile Processing Department.
• Manage instrument reprocessing including collection, decontamination, sterilization, and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and other surveys/audits and prepare for audits.
