Job summary

Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a Manager of the Sterile Processing Department to lead SPD operations and ensure efficient decontamination and sterilization services for the campus.

In this role you will oversee the SPD team, implement quality standards, and collaborate with perioperative services to support safe patient care. Strong leadership and 3+ years of experience in sterile processing are required.

The Manager of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) has the overall responsibility for the management and operations of the Sterile Processing Department. This department provides decontamination and sterilization services for Lancaster Medical Center.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Three (3) years of related experience required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• CHL (Certified Health Leader), CIS (Certified Instrument Specialist ), or CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) preferred.
