Job summary

Inova Alexandria Hospital, part of Inova Health System, seeks a dedicated Manager of Sterile Processing to lead the Sterile Processing and Perioperative Materials Management teams. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, focusing on staff performance, budgeting, and process improvements to support patient care.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in OR/SPD leadership, knowledge of sterile processing standards, and cross-training experience across subspecialties.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in OR/SPD leadership/management.
• Knowledge of perioperative sterile processing standards and materials management.
• Leadership experience across sub-specialties or cross-training.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages all aspects of Sterile Processing and Perioperative Materials Management.
• Oversees staff performance, cost controls, and budget preparation.
• Drives Lean process improvement and ensures compliance with policies and standards.
• Coordinates equipment service, supplies, and facility renovations as needed.
