Job summary

Arkansas Children's is seeking a Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Manager to lead daily sterile processing in the OR and Central Sterile Department. The role ensures staff competency, oversees budgets, and collaborates with department leaders to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required: Bachelor's Degree, 5 years in a related field with 1 year of leadership, and CRS certification from HSPA. Full-time, on-site role within Central Sterile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• 5 years in related field with at least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Certification as Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (HSPA).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily sterile processing activities in OR and Central Sterile Department.
• Monitor sterilization processes and staff competency; manage budgets.
• Supervise Central Sterile Lead Techs and Techs; ensure quality patient care.
• Collaborate with Business Manager to monitor financial information and trends.
• Ensure instrument sets are prepared, cleaned, and charged correctly.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with AC epidemiology and industry standards.
