Job summary

The role reports to the Director of Surgical Services and requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to support surgical services and related departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• 4+ years / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in relevant healthcare field or 5+ years perioperative experience including Central Sterile, OR, or Ambulatory Care Center; healthcare-related degree within 2 years of hire (Preferred).
• 3+ years of management or supervisory experience within sterile processing (Required).
• Certification as CRCST or above (IAHCSMM) or CSPDT or above (CBSPD).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department.
• Provide leadership in development and implementation of instrument sterilization policies and procedures.
• Ensure availability of instrumentation, supplies, and resources to support surgical services.
