Job summary

Baldwin Health is seeking a Sterile Services Lead to oversee sterile processing and liaise with the operating room, ensuring efficient instrument handling and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include audits, staff training, inventory management, and process improvement; you will mentor technicians and lead continuous quality initiatives. Must have 3-5 years in sterile processing and 1-3 years in leadership, with CRCST/CSPDT/CER/CIS certifications.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in sterile processing or surgical services.
• 1-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day leadership and oversight of sterile processing staff.
• Manages supplies and inventory across Sterile Processing areas.
• Oversees collection, decontamination, processing, sterilization, storage, and distribution of instruments.
• Conducts quality audits to ensure accurate instrument assembly.
• Serves as technical lead, guiding junior staff and providing training.
• Coordinates case cart assembly, sterilization, and timely delivery.
• Monitors sterilization processes and ensures QA compliance.
• Collaborates with supervisors to implement process improvements.
• Evaluates staff performance and provides timely feedback.
