Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines, FL, is seeking a Sterile Processing and Distribution Manager to assist in daily operations and drive department goals. The role emphasizes staff development, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years in sterile processing with leadership experience; relevant certifications are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
• Certified Central Service Vendor Partner (CCSVP) and related HSPA certifications listed in the posting.
• Two (2) years of experience in sterile processing and distribution with leadership experience.
• Associate's degree in a related field preferred or enrolled in an Associate's degree program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing departmental goals, standards and objectives aligned with the organization’s strategic plan.
• Monitor budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts and vendor relations.
• Determine needs for systems/equipment/supplies and oversee inventory and maintenance.
• Schedule, recruit and support payroll activities; manage staff performance and relations.
• Collaborate with clinical areas to meet equipment and supply requirements.
