Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Central Service Technician to join the surgical services team. The role focuses on cleaning, sterilizing, and packing instruments, maintaining inventory, and transporting supplies under supervision.

You will work evenings, Mon-Fri 2PM–10:30PM, with call as needed, and collaborate with patient care and Materials Management staff to support efficient, safe care for children.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of Central Service Technician course of study or healthcare organization training; military training or experience satisfies this requirement for WA state employees, per Title 18 RCW.
• In lieu of formal training, candidates with a nationally recognized certification (e.g., CRCST) and/or a minimum of one year of recent sterile processing experience preferred.
• Central Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire, as required by location.
• Minimum one year of related experience preferred.
