Job summary

El Rio Health seeks a Sterile Processing Assistant to join Stone Health Center in Tucson. You will support decontamination, cleaning, assembling, sterilization, storage, and distribution of medical instruments, following CDC/OSHA/AAMI guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, up to six months in a related healthcare role, and a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card; bilingual skills are a plus. The position features a Monday–Friday schedule at 7am–4pm with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Six months in a related role or healthcare environment
• Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packing, sterilization, storage, and distribution of instruments
• Operates sterilizers and related equipment according to policies and procedures
• Maintains compliance with CDC, OSHA, and AAMI guidelines
