Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of experience demonstrating ability to perform the work or understanding of the work.
• One year above high school that included at least 6 semester hours in health care related courses such as sterile processing, nursing assistant, hospital corpsman, and operating room/surgical technician courses.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education acceptable for entry level.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sterile processing service focused on high level disinfection, sterilization, sterile storage, infection control and prevention, staff education, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide supervisory oversight for MSTs and administrative duties including planning and directing work.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with program goals and funding.
• Evaluate new products and equipment, provide recommendations and options.
• Manage fiscal resources, budgets, and forecasting to meet department needs.
