Job summary

Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital is hiring a Surgical Reprocessing Assistant for the afternoon/evening shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM). Under direct supervision, you retrieve soiled items, deliver sterile instruments, and assemble OR case carts to maintain quality standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; healthcare training or central service experience preferred; ability to read, write and follow written or oral instructions; and on-the-job training up to two months.

Responsibilities

• Assembles general instrument trays and sterilizes a variety of instruments and supplies.
