Job summary

MSD in Rahway, New Jersey is seeking an Engineer to join the Formulation, Laboratory, and Experimentation Sterile 2 facility. The role supports aseptic formulation, filling, lyophilization, and technology transfer within a GMP environment.

You will draft batch records, SOPs, investigations, and change controls, and assist with commissioning, qualification, and regulatory readiness as the site startup progresses. Strong collaboration with formulators and quality teams is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related technical field with expected graduation by July 2027.
• Knowledge of GMP principles, safety requirements, and ability to follow site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for formulation, process development, scale‑up, and technology transfer.
• Draft and maintain investigations, change controls, SOPs, batch documentation, and technical protocols.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and regulatory readiness activities for the facility.
• Assist with data review, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
