Job summary

CAPS, part of the B. Braun family, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist in sterile IV compounding in a 503A setting in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The role reports to a licensed pharmacist and requires adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position emphasizes aseptic technique, regulatory compliance, and collaborative work with a team on-site, with a typical 9:00–17:30 schedule and some weekend rotation. Salary is in the stated hourly range, with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician license required (CA Board).
• PTCB or NHA ExCPT certification preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• cGMP training/experience desired; training provided.
• Aseptic processing training/experience desired; training provided.
• Schedule: 9am–5:30pm, Mon–Fri with rotating weekends.
• Salary range is $25.17–$28.09 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to CAPS policies and procedures.
• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Sets up the compounding room, equipment, and supplies.
• Performs general cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Participates in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepares records and monitors results for QA testing.
