Job summary

A healthcare service provider in Evansville is looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist to perform sterile processing procedures, including decontamination, cleaning, and transporting medical supplies. Candidates must graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program. The role is full-time with evening shifts from 3pm to 11:30pm, including rotating weekends and holidays. Qualifications

• Graduated from an Accredited Surgical Technology program or completed HSPA certification.
• High school diploma or GED and graduated from an accredited program as CST or CRCST.

Responsibilities

This individual is responsible for performing sterile processing procedures that include, decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and transportation of medical instrumentation/supplies/equipment and ancillary services to all requesting departments as required, under the supervision of the SSP Leadership.

Required: Certifications/Licenses/Education

Graduated from an Accredited Surgical Technology program or completed HSPA instrument of patient care certification program for CRCST/CIS or CBSPD.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology Program as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or a Sterile Supply CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)/CIS (Certified Instrument Specialist) or a CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution).
