Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Sterile Core Tech to support OR operations and maintain sterile processing workflows. You will assist in inventory management, patient transport, and OR turnover, including equipment procurement and instrument processing, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Hours are 3:00pm-11:30pm, Monday through Friday, with 1-2 weekends every 6 weeks and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in OR environment preferred.
• Certification: N/A

Responsibilities

• Assist in inventory maintenance, patient transport, and OR turnover including equipment procurement and instrument processing when needed.
• Assist in daily setup of the operating room under RN supervision.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Sterile Core Tech
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: (40 hours per week)
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm, 1-2 weekends every 6 weeks, rotating holidays

What you will do:

• Assist in the maintenance of inventory, transporting of patients, & participate in O.R. case turnover to include equipment procurement and instrument processing when necessary.
• Assist in the daily setup of the operating room under supervision of Registered Nurse

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Certification: N/A
• Experience: Work Experience in OR environment preferred
