Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform sterile compounding according to company policy and regulations including USP 797 and USP 800
  • Maintain competency related to performing sterile compounding
  • Participate in medication management for pharmacy compounding, including medication and supply ordering, receiving and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot equipment, hardware, and software issues relating to compounding
  • Participate in completing and documenting all cleaning and monitoring activities identified for areas related to sterile compounding including daily, weekly and monthly cleaning requirements
  • Work within a team to triage and respond to all compounding needs promptly
  • Maintain ongoing didactic and practical training related to sterile compounding

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Kansas
  • 1+ years of consistent sterile compounding experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (8-hour shifts between 7am-7pm weekdays with rotating weekends)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently to solve high-stakes problems
  • Certified Compounded Sterile Preparations Technician (CSPT) certification
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
  • Ability to lift to 30 pounds
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
