Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX. The role involves assisting in sterile compounding, IV medication preparation, and maintaining pharmacy safety standards.

You will work under supervision, support inventory control, and collaborate with other staff to ensure high-quality patient care. Certification in compounded sterile techniques is required; strong communication and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician with current certification.
• Compounded Sterile Technician Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Assist in setup of the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for preparation of sterile solutions.
• Mix and package IV medications.
• Periodically participate in inventory of the pharmacy.
• Rotate stock to assure quality controls.
• Maintain pharmacy standards and adherence policies.
• Collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
