Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Michigan (within 30 days if eligible).
• Experience with sterile compounding in acute care or health system settings.
• Knowledge of USP <797>, USP <800>, FDA regs related to sterile compounding.
• Ability to teach students and health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient‑oriented pharmacy services on shift with clinical judgment.
• Supervise sterile compounding activities and technical staff.
• Prepare patient-specific and batch sterile compounds (e.g., TPN, IV chemo).
• Perform CSP inspections, labeling, and storage documentation.
• Train pharmacy interns/externs and assist with staff training.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and HFH policies.
• Collaborate to improve patient services and operational efficiency.
• Respond to inquiries and prepare for inspections by regulatory bodies.
