Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
• Fellowship training in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery.
• Ability to obtain a NC medical license and UNC credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical care for epilepsy and movement disorders in collaboration with neurologists.
• Mentor residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Contribute to research on mechanisms and surgical techniques for epilepsy and functional disorders.
• Collaborate across UNC’s neuroscience, imaging, and engineering communities.
