Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL, seeks a Clinical Nurse Supervisor for the Stepdown Unit to lead daily nursing operations, supervise staff, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

This full-time night shift role requires valid RN license, BSN preferred, BLS and ACLS on hire, and at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience with supervisory exposure. Compensation ranges from $36.75 to $55.70 per hour, with a sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• RN licencia and current state licensure.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience; supervisory or leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily nursing operations and supervise clinical staff.
• Ensure quality patient care, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, workflow, and resource utilization.
• Coach, mentor, train, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Drive quality improvement and operational excellence.
• Serve as unit leader in the absence of the Director or Nurse Manager.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within RN scope of practice.
