Job summary

Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Stepdown RN for Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. This is a 10-week travel contract paying $2,231 per week, on a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule. You’ll provide progressive care, assess patient conditions, and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Stepdown nursing experience.
• Active Connecticut RN License.

Responsibilities

• Manage higher-acuity patients stepping down from intensive care who require close monitoring
• Monitor continuous telemetry and hemodynamic status, recognizing and escalating changes promptly
• Administer medications and IV therapy, including titratable drips approved for the unit, per facility protocol
• Care for patients on high-flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation when assigned

This Stepdown travel nurse position in Bridgeport, Connecticut, with Advantis Medical is a 10-week Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Bridgeport Hospital. This role pays $2,231 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule.

In this Stepdown travel nursing role, you will provide progressive care in a hospital setting, assess and monitor patient conditions, support urgent interventions, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians and the clinical care team during fast-moving patient situations.
