Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Stepdown Unit at Methodist North in Memphis. You will be responsible for delivering patient-centered nursing care within a multidisciplinary team, using the nursing process to plan and coordinate care that meets safety and quality standards.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, educate patients and families, implement care plans, and administer medications with an emphasis on compassion and excellence in patient care.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee.
• BLS certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred.
• One year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and medications.
• Implement and adjust individualized patient care plans based on assessments.
• Administer medications safely per best practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
