Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver and coordinate nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team, using the nursing process to ensure comprehensive, high-quality patient care.

Applicants will provide patient- and family-centered education, collaborate with physicians and staff to implement individualized care plans, and prioritize patient safety. Nursing licensure in Tennessee and BLS are required for this role.

Qualifications

Required - Associates Degree in Nursing.
Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Licensure as Registered Nurse in Tennessee (TN).
BLS certification from American Heart Association.
Knowledge of Nurse Practice Act and nursing scope of practice.
Ability to analyze clinical information using critical thinking to develop care plans.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Provide patient and family education on care plans, medications and self-care.
Develop, implement and adjust personalized patient care plans based on assessments.
Administer medications safely following best practices.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
