Job summary

Fawkes and Reece in the Southeast of England is seeking an experienced professional to step up into a Project Manager role within our growing utilities, highways and broader civil engineering portfolio.

As Project Manager you will own projects from mobilisation to completion, ensuring delivery safely, commercially, on programme and to quality standards, while coordinating clients, contractors and site teams.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering or infrastructure background.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ambition to progress into Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering and infrastructure projects from start to finish.
• Take ownership of programme, cost, quality and health & safety.
• Lead and support Site Agents, Supervisors and operational teams.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress against programme and manage project risks.
• Manage client relationships and attend project meetings.
• Support commercial management, including valuations, variations, forecasting and cost control.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with specifications, RAMS and company procedures.
• Manage project reporting, documentation and performance information.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery, efficiency and profitability.
