Instructor for the STEP Program
The instructor’s main role in the program is to learn from the developed leadership and decision making course curriculum and be a teacher and a facilitator of learning using the material. Instructors can expect to work with a class size of up to 16 middle school students. Course description listed below:
Course One - Game On: The Art of Decision Making for Youth Leaders
What steps do you take when making an important decision? How do you involve others in the decision-making process? This course is designed to help students develop critical thinking, creativity, and analytical skills through engaging and interactive challenges. This dynamic course uses interactive games, case studies, and real-life scenarios to help young leaders build confidence in making choices that impact their lives, communities, and the world around them.
Course Two - Lead the Way: The Boardroom Quest
What makes a decision "good" or "bad," and how do we measure the success of our choices over time? Step into the world of leadership and strategic decision-making with Board of Directors: The Art of Decision-Making for Young Leaders. In this interactive course, students will learn how to approach complex challenges, make impactful choices, and understand the responsibilities of leadership.
