Job summary

Responsibilities include performing assigned clinical tasks, taking vital signs, measuring intake and output, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in unit performance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) approved by the American Heart Association or obtain within orientation period.
• Preferred: Nurse Aide completion or comparable program (such as EMT, Medical Assistant, nursing student with clinical).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Respond to call lights and patient/family inquiries promptly.
• Take and document vital signs and input/output as directed.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control practices.
• Participate in unit performance improvement activities.
