Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a Registered Nurse II-SDU (Certified Nursing Assistant) to provide nursing care in the step-down unit. The nurse will interpret ECG rhythms and manage care during emergencies, supervising ancillary staff within scope of practice.

Requires Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred; Basic Dysrhythmia and Critical Care courses preferred; 6 months telemetry experience preferred. Represents CNA policy and patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Basic dysrhythmia course preferred.
• Critical care course preferred.
• 6 months cardiac step-down/telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing interventions in stable and emergent patient situations.
• Proficient in medication administration, IV therapy, catheter/drain care, and equipment use.
• Interprets ECG rhythms and manages life-threatening emergencies.
• Verifies alarm settings with Monitor Technician per policy.
• Demonstrates knowledge of lead function and monitoring decisions.
• Care for patients post coronary intervention with Femostop device.
