Job summary

Advocate Health in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Step Down for our 32-bed CCU in a Level I trauma center. This full-time role requires completion of an accredited nursing program and an Illinois RN license, with preference for 1+ year inpatient RN experience and BLS certification.

You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, using evidence-based practice to ensure a safe environment and high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and strong communication to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
