Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process and work with the health care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Under general supervision, this role requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred), SC RN licensure or compact state license, and BLS (ACLS required for most areas). A 36-hour workweek and a $30,000 sign-on bonus for experienced hires are included.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state; ACLS required for most areas within the hospital.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS also required for most nursing areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe and effective care and interact with the health care team to achieve desired results.
