Job summary

PTC is a leading manufacturer of welded and drawn steel products, seeking an operator to run transport equipment, perform inspections, and log data for process tracking in Liberty Township, Ohio.

The role requires basic math, good reading/writing skills, and 1+ year in manufacturing. You will work with ERP and MS Office programs, ensuring safety and quality standards are met while supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to read instructions, reports, and memos with accuracy.
• Must be computer literate and able to use Word/Excel; learn ERP-related tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate transport equipment safely within guidelines.
• Conduct inspections of equipment and products to ensure quality and stability of the line.
• Accurately record and report data to department leaders.
• Use computer systems to track processes and adjust parameters as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow work instructions.
