The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake is seeking a Youth Development Professional (YDP) to partner with AmeriCorps, delivering STEM and academic activities for youth ages 8-12, and supporting a safe, engaging club experience.
The role requires energy, strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage tasks, and willingness to drive 15-passenger vans. Schedule is Monday-Friday afterschool hours; compensation includes $15-$17/hour and an Education Award of $1,565 upon program completion.

Hours: 25* hours per week- Monday, Thursday, Friday 2:00-6:30pm, Wednesday 12:30-6:30pm, Tuesday 1:30-6:30pm
In partnership with AmeriCorps, STEM Youth Development Professionals (YDP) facilitate fun, engaging, and age-appropriate STEM-related activities for youth or teens from diverse backgrounds. Using our three priority outcomes - academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles - as a guide, Youth Development Professionals run programs, offer support, and ensure that every Club Member has an Optimal Club Experience that sets them up for lifelong success.
Successful YDPs have a passion for serving others and contributing to the well‑being of the community at large. Youth Development Professionals have the ability to connect with young people and offer supportive relationships. They are team players willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that Club Members are safe, recognized, and given the opportunity to learn new skills.
