Job summary

The After-School Collective, in partnership with Snapology, is seeking enthusiastic LEGO-based STEM teachers to lead hands-on programs across Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens and Manhattan. You’ll inspire curiosity, foster teamwork, and make learning fun for young learners.

Ideal candidates have at least one year working with children in camps or after-school settings, strong classroom management, reliability, and a willingness to be trained on all curriculum.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working with children in educational, camp, afterschool, or enrichment settings.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to lead independently.
• Reliable, professional, and punctual work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on STEM, engineering, robotics, and LEGO-based learning activities.
• Facilitate coding and creative building projects for young learners.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels welcome.
• Manage student behavior to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
• Inspire children to think critically, solve problems, and collaborate.
