Job summary

Fusion Academy is a private 1-on-1 school for grades 5–12 seeking a STEM Teacher. The role involves shaping schedules, designing lessons, mentoring students, and partnering with parents. The position is part-time with potential to grow to full-time based on enrollment.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree; teaching credentials are a plus. Florida background screening may apply for residents. On-site role with competitive benefits and a pay range of USD 27.30–28.53 per hour.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of science and math courses (Earth, Physical, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Earth Space, Anatomy & Physiology, Marine Biology, Zoology, Integrated, Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
