Job summary

Code Ninjas Fullerton seeks a Sensei to lead after-school sessions with kids ages 5 to 10. You will guide hands-on activities in coding, robotics, game design, 3D printing and circuitry in a fun, structured learning environment.

Responsibilities include assisting in lessons, managing classroom flow, and reinforcing key concepts while preparing materials and collaborating with other Senseis and the Center Director.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Exposure to coding, robotics, or STEM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading after-school sessions for groups of 10 to 25 students aged 5 to 10.
• Support Sensei in delivering lessons on coding, robotics, game design, 3D printing and circuitry.
• Help manage classroom flow and maintain a positive, structured learning environment.
• Engage with students to keep them focused and supported during activities.
• Reinforce curriculum concepts through one-on-one and small-group assistance.
• Prepare materials before class and assist with cleanup after sessions.
• Collaborate with the Center Director and fellow Senseis to ensure sessions run smoothly.

We’re looking for a Sensei, a caring, energetic, and patient instructor to lead after-school sessions with kids ages 5 to 10. Depending on the group, you might be guiding younger students through playful, hands-on activities or helping older kids dive into beginner-friendly coding and robotics projects. You’ll create a fun, structured environment where students can learn, explore, and build confidence through tech. If you love working with kids and want to help spark curiosity and creativity in a high-energy setting, this could be the perfect fit for you.
