Job summary

iLEAD is seeking an Educational Facilitator to support TK-12 home study families in Lancaster, CA. The role centers on individualized education, ILP development, and ongoing collaboration with parents and learners.

The Educational Facilitator will meet learners regularly, maintain portfolios, and coordinate assessments while ensuring adherence to program policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• CA Credential (Multiple or Single Subject).
• ELL Authorization or CLAD certificate.
• Negative TB test and DOJ fingerprint clearance.
• Proficiency with technology platforms for learning and records.
• Experience with homeschool or independent study preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional demeanor and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who can multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee academic and instructional planning and instruction.
• Act as main contact for assigned parents and learners in the independent study program.
• Develop ILPs with learner/parent to meet standards and objectives.
• Meet learners in person or virtually at least every 20 days to review progress.
• Maintain learner portfolios and required documentation.
• Take attendance and ensure records are up to date.
• Award semester grades and progress reports with parents.
• Coordinate additional meetings to support learner needs.
• Respond to parent inquiries within one business day.
• Model effective teaching strategies for parents and learners.
• Assist families with program rules, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with team and directors for learner support.
• Provide extra curriculum support to at-promise learners.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
