Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism, marketing, or related field.
• 4–6 years of professional writing, editing, and content creation experience.
• Ability to interview researchers and translate technical topics into engaging narratives.
• Experience writing across digital feature stories, newsletters, web copy, magazines, and social media.
• Advanced editing skills with adherence to university style guides.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills in a shared-services environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and publish articles, feature stories, newsletters, and web content.
• Interview faculty, students, alumni, researchers, and industry partners.
• Translate technical material for diverse audiences.
• Maintain content calendars and editorial workflows.
• Coordinate with University Marketing & Communications to ensure brand consistency.
• Develop and update digital content and support email communications.
• Support media relations and strategic communications initiatives.
