City of Hope is seeking a Registered Nurse for Stem Cell transplant care on a PRN days schedule in Newnan, GA. The role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient care within malignant hematology and stem cell transplantation, and guiding Patient Care Technicians.

The candidate should have a BSN (or be enrolled within 6 months) and a GA RN license (or Compact State). BLS and ACLS are required on hire, with renewal every two years, and ONS BMTCN

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Cellular Therapy (Stem Cell Transplant and/or Immune Effector Cell) or as deemed qualified by Cellular Therapy Leadership.
• Education- BSN required or enrolled within 6 months of hire and BSN completed within three years from hire date.
• Licensure- Georgia Registered Nurse License or a Registered Nurse License from a Compact State.
• Certification- Basic Life Support (BLS) required on hire; ACLS required within 30 days; BMTCN or BMTCN equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents the care of patients across malignant hematology and stem cell transplantation.
• Assists with special procedures and directs care delivered by Patient Care Technicians and other team members.
• Adheres to infection control policies and maintains patient dignity, rights, and privacy.
• Communicates effectively with peers and participates in onboarding new employees.
• Documents nursing care, implants, and specimens accurately; collaborates with other disciplines.
• Maintains required competencies and pursues professional growth.
• Completes additional duties as assigned.
