Job summary

HOKALI in San Diego is seeking enthusiastic STEM Enrichment Educators to lead hands-on after-school programming. You will deliver engaging activities that build curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving through real-world challenges, guided by provided lesson plans while allowing your own ideas.

This role favors instructors with high school teaching experience and strong communication skills, offers flexible scheduling within the Sept 21–Oct 30 window, and pays $50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must complete 3 hours of online training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on STEM programming in an after-school setting.
• Deliver engaging activities and foster curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving.
• Follow provided lesson plans with flexibility to bring in original ideas.

About The Role

We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our growing team as STEM Enrichment Educators.

This role focuses on leading engaging, hands-on STEM programming for students in an after-school setting. It's ideal for educators who enjoy creating interactive learning experiences and are passionate about helping students develop curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

We're Actively Seeking Instructors With High School Teaching Experience.

Schedule: September 21 - October 30, 2026 - TBD days and time.

Location: San Diego, CA

Compensation: $50 p/hr.
