Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Stellantis Technician role based in Melbourne, FL. The technician is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on Stellantis brand vehicles (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) according to manufacturer standards. Daily tasks include using diagnostic equipment, identifying mechanical and electrical issues, completing repair orders, and ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently. The role involves collaborating with service advisors, maintaining accurate documentation, and communicating clearly with the service team about vehicle status and recommended services. The technician is also expected to follow all dealership policies, keep work areas clean and organized, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with Stellantis technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong automotive diagnostic and repair skills, including experience with mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in modern vehicles.
• Familiarity with manufacturer-specific service procedures, preferably Stellantis (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) certifications or willingness to obtain them.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair instructions, and to use computerized diagnostic tools and software.
• Solid organizational and documentation skills for completing repair orders, service records, and parts requests accurately and on time.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on customer service, reliability, and professionalism in a dealership environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technology program or relevant ASE certifications is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and ability to operate a variety of vehicles, including manual transmission where required.
• Commitment to safety practices, continuous learning, and adherence to all applicable regulations and dealership policies.
