Job summary

Bosch Vehicle Motion North America is seeking a student intern to support Virtual Vehicle Testing and CAE activities. You will assist with test prep, mechanical simulations, data analysis, and scripting in MATLAB/Simulink and CarSim.

Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's in automotive engineering and have interest in vehicle dynamics and automotive systems. The internship can last up to 12 months and offers exposure to HIL testing, CAE work, and scripting in a cutting-edge automotive

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Understanding of Mechanical/Electrical fundamentals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• This internship can be up to 12 months in duration.

Responsibilities

• Support Steering System Hardware-in-Loop with test support and chamber prep.
• Support Steering CAE with mechanical simulations.
• Document and maintain technical product data and procedures.
• Develop Testing scripts using Matlab, Simulink, and CarSim.
• Develop Data analysis scripts using MATLAB or dSPACE Automation Desk.
• Assist with/Develop a Virtual Vehicle Environment.

Job Description

Bosch Vehicle Motion North America is searching for a student to help support the Virtual Vehicle Testing and CAE departments. The ideal candidate should be interested and passionate about automotive systems, vehicle dynamics, and simulation.

• Support Steering System Hardware-in-Loop team with product development tasks such as test support and testing chamber prep
• Support Steering CAE team with mechanical simulations
• Document and maintain technical product data and procedures
• Assist with/Develop Testing scripts utilizing Matlab, Simulink, and CarSim
• Assist/Develop Data analysis scripts utilizing MATLAB or dSPACE Automation desk
• Assist with/Develop a Virtual Vehicle Environment

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics
• Strong interpersonal skills
