Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants seeks Roof Field Inspectors to join our nationwide contractor network. Inspectors evaluate exterior and interior damage on steep/high roofs, conduct underwriting property inspections, and use technology to assess damage and prevent further harm until permanent repairs are completed.

This Independent Contractor position requires a reliable vehicle, a 32’ ladder, and the ability to obtain a Lidar device and necessary credentials.

Qualifications

• Reliable vehicle and ability to transport a 32' ladder
• Lidar device ownership or ability to obtain one
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Teams)
• Willing to obtain required certifications to join contractor pool
• Roofing/construction background or insurance claims experience preferred
• Independent contractor status favored

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluating exterior and interior damage
• Perform underwriting property inspections and document findings
• Utilize cutting-edge technology to assess property damage and advise on precautions
• Provide detailed, accurate reports to support claims resolution
• Work within Hancock Claims Consultants' contractor network to ensure timely inspections
